School/ Camp/ Edcuational Group Visits
Our Sanctuary is a wonderful place to educate and promote kindness, empathy and respect of all beings. Through guided discussions, crafts, and tours, children learn about a variety of subjects. Lesson focus can include specific age-appropriate topics, or can be as simple as a guided tour with your teachers guiding the discussing. Some common topics incorporated into our tours and workshops include: Animal care and needs, animal habitats, empathy, celebrating diversity, perserverance- overcoming obstacles, doing our part to help the environment, and much more. Educational groups visits are an exciting alternative to sitting in a classroom and can be tailored to your groups specific needs.

Group Tours
Private group tours (for 1-12 people) are one of the few ways to visit the farm without working! Join us for an informative tour of the facility with one of our board members or volunteers as we take you behind the scenes at a working sanctuary. We will take time to answer any questions your group may have and get up close and personal with some our our resident animals. Please plan to wear close-toed shoes, and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. All children under 18 need to be accompanied by an adult. Please note, we are not a zoo. There is no guarantee which resident animals will be present and willing to interact at any given time. Because we are a sanctuary, we allow the animals to have agency- they decide if they want to interact with a group or not and we will not force interaction. All participants will be required to sign a waiver and photo release before conducting the tour.

Birthday Parties at the Sanctuary
Host a birthday party for your child or adult! A birthday at the Sanctuary can be a super fun way to spend a birthday with up to 30 people and make a difference for animals at the same time. Birthdays can be hosted in our event room or under the open air- depending on weather. We provide tables, chairs, and up to two animal encounters. We can try our best to accomodate what animal types based on our residents at the time of your party. You may bring in food and dispoable plates and cups. No alcohol is permitted. Parties are no more than 2.5 hours. A minimum donation of $300 is requested to book your party.

Movie under the stars
Join the sanctuary staff and some furry friends under a blanket of stars as we watch family-friendly movies on the big screen outdoors! Some chairs and tables are provided, but are first come, first serve… so feel free to bring blankets or chairs of your own. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. This event is free but we do ask you sign up so we can be sure to prepare our sanctuary for the correct number of visitors. Bowser's Bungalow and the farm animal barn will not be open for visitation at this time. We will have free-roaming animals at their discretion during the movie.
