Karyn Soergel
Karyn brings 20 years of management, animal welfare and pet care industry experience to her role. Karyn’s lifelong passion for animal welfare fuels her dedication to enhancing the lives of both pets and their human companions. Karyn has always felt a strong connection with animals and knew from an early age they would play an important role in her life. She worked with Milwaukee area rescues through fostering, community outreach, and animal care. After an extensive career in corporate marketing, she decided to focus on what brought her joy, so the leap to work with animals wasn't a leap at all!
Eight years ago, she acquired a pet care company to provide people and pets with an alternative to boarding or daycare. As an animal advocate, she was faced with the same problem many others had: leaving for a workday or vacation, her pet care options were limited. Her company’s business model allows pets to stay home in a familiar environment where they can play with their toys, sleep in their beds, and go for long walks with someone they know and trust.
In her free time, Karyn enjoys spending time with her five adopted children: four cats (Charlie, Owen, Junior, and Bunny) and a dog named Ruby. She also enjoys outdoor sports: horseback riding, kayaking, swimming, skiing, and gardening.
